A full-time School Psychologist position is available at a school located in Smyrna, DE. This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 remote days per week and requires 37.5 hours weekly. The contract position is set to begin as soon as possible and will extend through mid-June 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop intervention strategies
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and support compliance
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Assist in data collection and reporting related to student progress and behavior
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Experience working in K-12 school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and psychoeducational practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Proficient in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
